Guest
Thought I'd give it a shot. Here goes: Riddling is one hard job No task made for the meek I stumble even on line three! Come six this will be weak Each letter of mine is a deadly sin Only V is not too bad Relate to me how to improve So at last these won't be so sad Ignore this verse, and the next They just take up a line Hope to make some better riddles October in '09! First off, this isn't a "What am I" type riddle, look at the words. Spoiler for One more: Read it aloud and listen to yourself. I wonder how this will turn out... Good luck! 0 Guest
So...What exactly are we trying to figure out here...I see no question... Sorry, I should've been clearer. There is word in the riddle. You can get a letter from each line, but that doesn't mean they're in order.

0 Guest
Lines 9 and 10 are entirely for the rhyme. Ignore them if you find the trick. Besides those two, what do all the others have in common? Read them aloud.

0 Izzy
Hmm.. Just a thought, but lines 1-6 and 11 all have double letters in them. That doesn't have anything to do with reading it aloud though..

0 andromeda
I've noticed something, it's hard not to, but I'm not sure if that's significant Riddling is one hard job No task made for the meek I stumble even on line three! 0 Guest
The rhyming, I'm afraid, has nothing to do with the puzzle. The number of letters in each line is also unimportant. There are numbers, many are hidden, in 9 of the lines. Again, ignore lines 9 and 10. The remaining line is somewhat different in that there is no number, but it can still be placed in the pattern with the other 9. Most of that is right! On line 6, I made a mistake I was trying to avoid. It is indeed 5. Verse 8 does not have a number in it, but it fits with the rest. Question
Guest
Thought I'd give it a shot.
Here goes:
Riddling is one hard job
No task made for the meek
I stumble even on line three!
Come six this will be weak
Each letter of mine is a deadly sin
Only V is not too bad
Relate to me how to improve
So at last these won't be so sad
Ignore this verse, and the next
They just take up a line
Hope to make some better riddles
October in '09!
I wonder how this will turn out...
Good luck!
