I was going to say the condom/divorce...

was the common item that she bought actually worth $1?

was losing the $20,000 a penalty?

I am thinking that it could also be along the lottery line that someone mentioned..

her and her husband were divorcing, and she bought a ticket and won $40,000 +, but he found out so he still go half so essentially she lost that $20,000, even though she still did infact gain $20,000 at the same time???

yes it's around one dollar probably less

yes its a penalty

it could work but not what im looking for.

use questions to narrow stuff down until u can guess

can this item be considered a weapon?

its not a weapon of any kind

I'll go with

She bought a key chain (the kind that has bugs in it) and it turned out to be an endangered species and she had to pay a penalty.

no, I'm pretty sure those bugs are plastic. well I hope they're

She won at the casino and didn't pay her taxes

it could definitely happen but that doesn't involve the item she bought

i gotta say a quit thanks to eveyone for helping me out with my first red topic (or however you'd say that :P )

is the item illegal?

did she use this item to cheat at some sort of game or competition?

does the item actually have to do with the fine? or does it just so happen that she was found with it at the time?

I meant my class as in the group of kids that i study with and am a part of.

I'm still in high school, but that's ok. I wasn't clear

1.is the item illegal?

2.did she use this item to cheat at some sort of game or competition?

3.does the item actually have to do with the fine? or does it just so happen that she was found with it at the time?

1.no

2.not exactly cheating, but it could have right or wrong answers

3.yes, its why she was fined

im not so sure that you can buy a toy gun for less than a buck. Oh yeah I don't think that a fine for carrying a gun in the public costs that much. I once watched a police show. On it, the police was telling some one to drop the gun so maybe they don't fine you. Just a thought. :)
