Question

See if you can find me....

I am all around you

Never leaving never coming, I am there.

I am invisible unless heat applied to the cold

I am inside you, waiting to be unleashed to the world

I am everywhere, nothing escapes my grasp but the dark,

cold reaches of infinity. I am everywhere, you just don't know.

Have fun

the answer is air, or carbon dioxide, or Oxygen, same thing different saying. =)

Good job puzzlegirl for figuring it out!

(hint: most of my riddles have simple answers...)

I don't think air fits. Reason:

I am everywhere, nothing escapes my grasp but the dark, (there is still air when there's dark)

cold reaches of infinity. I am everywhere, you just don't know. (i took this as to the end of the universe. There is no air out there)

and can you explain this line:

I am invisible unless heat applied to the cold

I agree with Frozen_in_Fire, light fits all criteria.

By"nothing escapes my grasp but the cold dark reaches of infinity" I mean space, the universe, ect. Light could not work because of the 3rd line, you cant see light when heat is applied to the cold, and light is not in your body waiting to be unleashed, the only possible explanation is air, or some type of gas.

Well actually the only reason why you can see your breath when you exhale is because of the water vapor you expel, its called insensible water loss, because you don't feel it when you're losing it. When gases mix, even in extremely different temperatures, they're still invisible, theres just a difference in pressure.

Water vapor, although there is no water vapor in outer space. There is also no oxygen or air in outer space, either.

I thought it was 'breath' Some people have been arguing over air or vapor or other things, especially the line "cold dark reaches of infinity" Could that mean death? Death = No Breath (and vice-versa) It also matches the 'inside of you' line. It may be splitting hairs, but that's what I do best!
