the Chief Justice and his colleagues decided to draw lots because his conviction evidence are equal with innocence evidence.
Lots:- a two papers should be written in one innocent, and the other is guilty, And the accused must choose one of the two papers randomly.
The problem is, the chief justice want the accused be guilty, so for that he wrote in the two papers guilty, guilty (the chief justice's colleagues know nothing about this), at that time the accused saw the chief worte guilty, guilty and he was very happy about this.
the chief justice said to the accused, if you choose the guilty one you will going to die....! but if you choose innocent you will going to be free...! and the accused chosed one, nevertheless, he became free (the accused).....?
