0 Guest
Ah... Houston, very close but you did not say who the maiden was. The maiden is a rock while the hair is seaweed. The bottom of an ocean or pond or lake does not fit the riddle. So really, Tearz got it... Edited August 29, 2008 by Blade
0 Guest
The maiden is a rock on a lake, pond, river or sea bed. Her hair is seaweed. Since your so smart answer these... If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, what is the speed of dark? Do little angels have car seats in their chariots in heaven? Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"? How does Kraft get the 5 ounces into every slice of American Singles? If a vampire can't see himself in a mirror, why is his hair always so neat? If 75% of all accidents occur within 5 miles of home, why not move 10 miles away? If a stealth bomber crashes in a forest, will it make a sound? Why is it that when you see someone in a cast or a brace, you say ouch? Why is the alphabet in that order? Is it because of that song? 0 Guest
Since your so smart answer these... (Easy) If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, what is the speed of dark? (The same, because light arrives and leaves at the same speed). Do little angels have car seats in their chariots in heaven? (No, because angels are sex-less creatures and therefore don't procreate, and chariots don't have seat belts) Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"? (No, the Patriots practice and still play at a pretty high level. What's unnerving is when the Dr. comes in the room, points to a medical tool, and says "what's this cool thing for?") How does Kraft get the 5 ounces into every slice of American Singles? (Obviously, an ape with a sledge hammer) If a vampire can't see himself in a mirror, why is his hair always so neat? (Mrs. Vampire) If 75% of all accidents occur within 5 miles of home, why not move 10 miles away? (Home is where the heart is. There is no escape) If a stealth bomber crashes in a forest, will it make a sound? (Only if you are around to hear it) Why is it that when you see someone in a cast or a brace, you say ouch? (I don't, I point and laugh). Why is the alphabet in that order? Is it because of that song? (Of course. You wouldn't want to sing O-I-M-A-P) Do you think the Assassination Museum was created after JFK's assassination? (JFK was never assassinated. It was a holywood stunt like the moon landing. He's actually still running things for the New World Order)

Wb - was seriously right on that one Do little angels have car seats in their chariots in heaven? trick Q, assumption on chariots! Angels exist - chariots no! 0 Guest
If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, what is the speed of dark? This could be a topic all on its own: 1. Darkness is the absense of light, it spreads exactly as quickly as the light goes away, hence it is exactly the same as the speed of light. 2. Darkness does not travel, move, or even exist in a meaningful sense. Anything which is defined as the absence ot something has no existence of it's own so it is wrong to talk about it travelling or anything else. So can you measure the speed of darkness? Is measuring light dissipate the same as measuring darkness, or are you still measuring the speed of light?

Apparently you can't measure darkness because it doesn't exist. My theory is that dark is always in a place, light just covers it up. So when a light goes out, darkness is there instantly. 0 Mekal
Since your so smart answer these... If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, what is the speed of dark? 0 MPH... dark is a relative term... it is not physical... Do little angels have car seats in their chariots in heaven? angels are agless... Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"? it's more creepy when they walk in with a giant needle and say "where to put this... decisions, decisions..." How does Kraft get the 5 ounces into every slice of American Singles? they lie... If a vampire can't see himself in a mirror, why is his hair always so neat? that is a myth... haven't you ever read twilight If 75% of all accidents occur within 5 miles of home, why not move 10 miles away? becuase then your home would be where you moved... If a stealth bomber crashes in a forest, will it make a sound? yes... sound is the movement of air waves... Why is it that when you see someone in a cast or a brace, you say ouch? 0 Guest
You just answered your same question. Apparently you can't measure darkness because it doesn't exist. My theory is that dark is always in a place, light just covers it up. So when a light goes out, darkness is there instantly. I was listing two arguments. One where speed of light = speed of dark or the other asking if you could measure darkness. if in fact you are actually still only measuring light. This topic is one of those topics that can be argued back and forth. You have the side that agrees with: Speed of Light = Speed of Dark and the side that argues that Darkness cannot be measured, that you are actually only measuring light retracting so in fact you are still only measuring light. I listed the two arguments (point 1 and point 2), then followed it up with a question to make people think.
