3. Unless by "hit" you mean they made contact with the ball into fair territory, in which case it is 6. If the ball could have been foul, it would be infinite.

the most possible would be 6 in a single 1/2 inning. But it's never happened. From what I read it would have to go like this...

1st batter hits, is out trying to steal 2nd base.

2nd batter hits, is out trying to steal 2nd base.

3rd, 4th, 5th batter would load up bases.

6th batter would hit a ground ball, stiking the runner on 3rd base. Runner is out, Batter gets a hit, End of the 1/2 inning.
