You are on a gameshow called "Mash-Up". You have to pick one out of three doors. After you pick a door the Host will open up a "losing" door that has prisioners trying on hats while crossing a river. After the "losing" door is opened you can stay with your initial choice or switch doors. Behind each "winning" door are two poles, a red and a black. Half of each pole is in the ground, another third is in the water( not the same water that the prisioners trying on hats are crossing ) and 8 feet are out of the water. The color of the poles are not determined beforehand but are generated when the winning door is opened. The poles have a 50/50 chance of being red or black.
Level 1. If the one pole is red, what are the odds of the other one being a 48' red pole if you switched doors.
Level 2. What are the odds of it being a 12' red pole if there are an infinite number of doors that are opened one after another in 1 minute; each one opening at half of the time remaining and the host says "VLR TFK FC QEB PQXQBJBKQ QEXQ FP RKABOIFKBA FP CXIPB".
Since this isn't a real puzzle I'll post in Other.
