lvl 2) LT CLI ZLDH LT W DLU IRVRVZRI, W LGYLKT YLUSRA SF ZR L BLUBTSRI. -BFFACRGGLT

lvl 3) PDN AQQR LD KQ ISHHQR. AR DZLQA. AR KP HDOQDAQ XED IADXH EDX. -YEQLL KNLCQY (missing A)

Let's see: quotes aren't always correct grammar. some quotes this time contain character names. i like the spoiler system Brandonb made, so you can answer by simply providing a correct letter correlation or the missing letter. please don't answer with the complete quote so that others can enjoy too. have fun!

translates to

EVERY WHO DOWN IN WHOVILLE LIKED CHRISTMAS A LOT, BUT THE GRINCH, WHO LIVED JUST NORTH OF WHOVILLE, DID NOT.

*EDIT*

wow, BL, how did you...don't worry, i don't know what missing logic means either, maybe it meaning that it is nonsense?

You are right, the sentence is gramatically incorrect and may not make sense :P

Which one is that from? Not in the first one. The word that helped me

killed, HH said S=K, and I couldn't think of too many words that started with K and had double consenants in them

Well, it's been a while with no new posts, so if anyone (aside from the CIA cryptologist HoustonHokie ;) ) want to post the missing letters or the complete quotes, feel free.

I think that post caused us all to go to this topic and solve these

Well done Ben Law on lvl x. To answer the question about lvl x: it doesn't necessarily mean the most difficult, it means that the quote is lacking proper english and or is nonsense in terms of regular speech.

GJ prof on #1. I purposely took out the initial "Hello." because that would have made it too easy, but the strange name in the middle makes it much harder. Of course if you saw that movie, you wouldn't think that name was strange you would think it's AMAZING! (at least I do ;) )

well done everyone! awaiting 3, 4, and 5. (5 is a doozy)
