I have two names with different meaning That sound the same when heard in speaking. I like this one a lot (pending the answer of course ). Just to add some positive feedback, I understood what you meant just by the riddle itself with no explanation needed. I like the concept, which is why it's so frustrating to keep thinking about this and not getting an acceptable answer. thirdbase, maybe it would help if I said you named 2 things. the answer is 1 thing. jeans and genes are 2 different things. if you wanted to answer genes, then the other name would be DNA, but of course those don't sound alike and aren't very decorative... hat/cap? good riddle Frost, I'm totally stumped ... While I come in many colors, One's more common than the others. This ought to help a little more. And no, Itachi, I don't plan to give the answer for a while, I have even more lines. It was initially used for symolizing love only , but as days went by it was more and more used for decoration. The different colours part definitely fits . Not sure about the rhyming part though . Then again, I'm glad no one did). I've thought of many possible answers but ruled them out myself. I am truly stumped. GREAT PUZZLE!!
