## Question

There is a giant that has been terrorizing the people. Sir Hector and his fellow knights, Sir Able, Sir Bold, Sir Gallant, Sir Resolute, and Sir Victor decided that two of them should confront the giant. Based on the following clues, which two knights confronted the giant?

1. If neither Sir Hector nor Sir Victor confronted the giant, then Sir Gallant did.
2. If either Sir Gallant or Sir Victor confronted the giant, then Sir Able did not.
3. If neither Sir Able nor Sir Hector confronted the giant, then Sir Resolute did
4. If neither Sir Bold nor Sir Able confronted the giant, then Sir Victor did.
5. If Sir Hector confronted the giant, then either Sir Gallant or Sir Resolute did.
6. If Sir Victor was not one of the two who confronted the giant, then neither was Sir Able nor Sir Resolute.

Sir V and Sir R?

1) tells us that H-G not possible, and V-G not possible

2) tells us that A-G not possible, and V-G not possible

3) tells us that A-R not possible, and H-R not possible

4) tells us that B-V not possible and B-A not possilbe

5) tells us that H-G possible but it conflicts with (1) and H-R possible but conflict with (3)

6) tell us that V-R possible and V-A possible but conflict with (1)

so the only possiblity left is V and R!

right?
