 The mind is a terrible thing to waste. It is like time, when it flies, in haste. Through the window, you may see a boor. Keep his body, outside the door. A structure like this, there's no time to miss, "what am I", and you will soon score.:wacko:

Youthfulness or childhood.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste. ----- Brain detoriates with age(but not in the den ;) )

It is like time, when it flies, in haste. ----- Youth vanishes quickly to be replaced by adulthood

Through the window, you may see a boor. Keep his body, outside the door------ Through the window of time , you see yourself maybe as a man who has lost his charms

A structure like this, there's no time to miss,----- There's no time to waste in childhood .

"what am I", and you will soon score.

Take a picture and see how it looks, you will never line those books. ----- After becoming old , when you see yourself in the mirror , you remember your school days.

This is a rhyme that shows the border, figure it out and I owe you a quarter.

Don't reveal the answer just yet , Aka.

Some of the lines seem to point to money.

"what am I", and you will soon score.--> If you "score" in some competitions, then you win money.

figure it out and I owe you a quarter.--> If you're owed a quarter, you're owed money.

you will never line those books.--> This is the line that got me thinking money; people can can line their pocketbook (wallet) with money.

It may be something more specific related to money, but that's my guess for now.*crosses fingers*

Good Job cryptic chic. With enough hints a big congratulations goes to you. Books have frames. You can score in a frame of bowling. Vaguely. A frame can be cut in a quarter. Edited by akaslickster
