Question

A woman from New York married ten different men from that city, yet she did not break any laws. None of these men died, and she never divorced. How was this possible?

Or you could say she married men FROM New York, but that did not take place necessarily in the U.S. - maybe a country or territory that allows polyandry.

Actually, as Jackie_Chan said: it's polyandry when a woman marries more than one man. Polygamy is only where a man marries more than one woman.

And her's another quote

Groucho: “Well whadaya say girls? Are we all gonna get married?

Woman: “All of us? But that’s bigamy!”

Groucho: “Yes, and it’s big-a-me too.”
