Question

Paris 1100s

The crowd was cheering on bestial passion.

They were comforted by the speech of the orator. Everyone was screaming in a hysterical passion.

Only the man on higher ground in the center of the crowd did not scream, was not amazed, and was rather sad about the orators speech.

A guard protected him from the influence of other who hated him, wanted to kill him (hint: the guard did not let them)

WHO IS THIS MAN?

the man on the higher ground was the criminal getting hanged.

The guard is the one to assured he wont escape. The orator screams out his accusations and than lets him get killed

What he meant was that why bother posting our answer when it's already provided for you to check to see if you know it? I know I'm not going to bother posting to express that I know it (or to see if I know it) if I can check in a spoiler. If you provide the answer initially, you're not going to get a lot of responses. Instead, I'd suggest waiting until someone gets it (in their own spoiler) and posting that they're right, along with a spoiler with more detailed explanations.

That was his point. You started a thread and ten minutes later you're wondering why you haven't received a reply? Especially when you've given away the answer?

Be patient and wait out getting replies. Keep in mind that if you give the answer away, you're less likely to get folks willing to repeat it. This tip is given in the sticky everyone should read before posting.

Edit: Already beaten by two posters. See how quick these guys are? ;)
