Guest
My first attempt at a riddle... They'd gotten it all wrong, in their eagerness to please. Something to believe in, down on hands and swollen knees. One went up young and returned somewhat new. You'd think there was one but instead there were two. The lust to know, and ego to break the code, caused a king of his time his ignorance to show. The outcome now stands with chains in a shrine, dark becomes light if you find the right rhyme What you'd think would mean evil can be replaced with a shine. After all, it wasnt the first propaganda at the hight of this time.

After all, it wasnt the first propaganda at the hight of this time. The first part is about Jesus' sermon on the mount, where a young boy brings up his food to be shared with everyone. Jesus made that into enough food for everyone there (You'd think there was one, but instead there were two.) The King of his time is also biblical, probably referring to the High Priests who had Jesus crucified. Um... seems very biblical, so here are some guesses: St. Peter's Basilica, a Miracle, St. Paul, St. John, Jesus himself, or maybe The Tabernacle or Transubstantiation... He wasnt alive at the time. Your author's an artist and art historian. Edited June 3, 2008 by crazypainter
