Question

My first try here...

Six white men were surrounded by seven red indians near the sea. They were fighting for pearls in the sea. The sea waves were so fierce that it shook the entire place in wavery motion. The horizon extended way beyond the sea and somewhere down the horizon, there were finger prints of proud men. Where in the world could this be?

Political Incorrectness Action Alert! Political Incorrectness Action Alert!

The PFACPIIOPP (People For Always Correcting Political Incorrectnes In Other People's Posts) has a problem with the OP (Original Problem).

#1) Why does it have to be "white"? Let's at least go "Caucasian" for our description.

#2) Why does it have to be "men"? Can't women be surrounded also?

#3) Why does it have to be "Indian"? We should call it Native American. And don't give me the whole "I meant Indian Sub-continent Indians" excuse, because those Indians don't have red skin.

#4) And while we're at it, calling Indians "red" is a derogatory term. I understand its germaine to the riddle, but c'mon!

#5) We shouldn't be using pearls in our riddles. Pearl harvesting is bad for the ecosystem and hurtful to oysters. Talking about them in riddle shows insensitivity to our friends of the sea, the oysters.

#6) And why are the fingerprints only of men? Sexist!

Boy, this just makes me want to burn this riddle up!

;)

Quality - I 3rd that

By the way it's ok if the pearls are farmed oysters assuming that they are not force-fed and good husbandry (or wifery) was adhered to!

We Indians do have red skin . Have you experienced the sweltering hot Indian summer? ;)

Hey ! I found an unforgivable flaw in your argument. :P
