0 Guest
I admit I don't use the metric system on a daily basis, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 12 cm = almost half a foot? That seems wide enough to stand on... except if the other dimensions are too small... ? it's 1 hand (4") Stranded on Island
0 Guest
All we know about the wood is that it is 12cm/4" wide, and it floats. Therefore I suggest that it is long enough to reach the far shore, so I build a simple bridge and walk across.
0 Guest
whats going to hold the bridge together? remember u only have wood! also its possible to stand on 12cm wide wood, but its hard to stay still, so the reccckon 12cm bit is not meant to be able for you u walk on... 0 Guest
You're on a traffic island. Walk away. Get a cure for your water disease (so you can start drinking) and start a wood selling company.

Put seven slats next to each other. Stack another six on top, then five more on top of that, creating the base of a pyramid-type shape. Walk across five planks. They are straight, aren't they? So why would they need to be held together to stay together? If you're tired of random guessing, just give us the answer. Otherwise I'm going swimming in this blasted ocean and committing suicide by drowning or skin disease, whichever strikes first.
