Question

Just as the evening lights came on

a bat flew over my head

I started to run until

I felt safe and

ended up

at home.

Just as I opened the door off

the porch, the aroma

of warm cake

came to

meet

me.

Just don't label me "worst" with

your poor pronunciation

give me credit for

good taste and

participation

3 - batter --> "badder", not quite worst, but pronunciation wise they are similar

For the first one....the person holding the bat is called the batter.

why is the bat flying over his head?? I played a baseball game or two in my life, and I never had a bat fly over my head (except when I farted on the catcher and he tried to take my head off one time)

LOL

well, when I tried to hit the ball the bat always went flying...the momentum brought it all the way around and over...almost always hitting someone.
