Question

Creating riddles is tougher than I thought :P

Humans find me important and large

but are constantly looking to fight

and I just want to be left alone

in my home by the barge

out of sight

I joined up with an old true love

so together our story we'd tell

creating heavenly words

and the idea that one

could foretell

Note:my Word Up puzzle paragraphs each hold the clue for one word that can be spliced together to form the answer... as well as having other related clues.

Cohort

good sunday to you aka. That is an incorect guess. The one word answer will be that of a thing.

on second thought, I will hold the clue for a bit....I think it may not be necessary

The answer is a tool of sorts

a fish and something old

joined together

making one

so stories

could be

told.

spray paint!

I have no idea...I'm giving up on this one and I'm having a blonde weekend.

My first thought upon reading this:

codpiece!

But I'm not sure it really answers the riddle...

But I'm not sure it really answers the riddle...

you are very warm!

the fish is a cod!! very good. here is another hint...when you put cod in front of its latter half the ah becomes an oh.

I was thinking the same thing, but I can't figure out what it has to do with "humans want to fight."

Humans want to fight.......that was a clue to lead you to the fish half of the puzzle. Humans catch fish, fish try to fight.

Hmm... fishing would be a lot easier if the fish didn't try to fight. Whether the humans want to fight... well, that's another issue. If I'm fishing just for sport, the fight might be my desire, but if I'm looking for dinner, I'm more than happy to have that salmon/trout/catfish flop itself right into my net!

I prefer it when they end up on on the plate cooked!
