They just made a reverse of previous one.. that is if 2 1 means they wrote 1 2 then writing the previous one in reverse order.. thro that i made like the following.the sequence should be in the following order

1 1

2 1

1 2 1 1

1 1 1 2 2 1

so ans 1 2 2 1 1 1 1 2 1.... kiruba.d

One small problem with the solution, you are no longer following the question of reading left to right. You are grouping. Thus if grouping is allowed, and it appears to be because that is the answer

1

11

21

1211

3112

132112

312213

and so on would be the solution

IF we stick with reading left to right it would become

1

11

21

1211

11121111

11111112111111

In other words you would be saying "one 1, one 2, one 1, one 1"

Based on the initial question, your answers are all wrong.

Your solution does not follow the pattern of the original sequence. The solution posted in post #2 is the only possible. If we follow your reasoning the sequence would look like this...

1

11

1111

11111111

and so on.

Ok, so you stated the answer, but no one's really clearly EXPLAINED how they got the answer. I'm not very good at this type of puzzle so I apologize if I'm being a little dense with this! :duh:
