Every afternoon, Bob and Jill would leave their houses, exactly one mile apart, and walk towards a seclusive meeting place exactly halfway between their houses. Bob has a dog. As soon as Bob leaves his house, the dog will run to meet Jill. Once he meets her, he will run back to Bob. Reaching Bob, he will turn around again and run back to Jill, until Jill and Bob finally meet.
Assuming Bob and Jill walk at exactly 1/2 mile per hour, and the dog runs at 6 miles an hour, how far will the dog travel before Bob and Jill meet?
