Guest
A vertical cylindrical post has a height of 16m and circumference of 3m. A squirrel climbs that post spirally. If he gains a vertical height of 4m in one complete revolution of the post, tell me the total distance moved by the squirrel to reach the top. 0 Guest
Each revolution takes 5 m (use Phytogoras theorem) So 16 m height required 4 complete revolutions, which means 4 x 5m = 20 m The squirrel has travelled 20m!
