Question

Posted · Report post

What am I? (pretty easy)

I'm less than a 1/8 of a teaspoon big, you'd concur

But many times I'm 100 meters long

Maybe a missus but never a mister

Connect like gauze

Don't take a long pause

And be careful not to get this riddle wrong

A Snake or serpent. :)

I'd be surprised if there was a snake around 100 meters long ... I think the biggest max out around 10.

If you need a hint though...

There's a reason it's 100 meters, and not 99 or 103 or something close.

Nikyma has it!

A dash...

...as a unit of measurement in cooking is between 1/16th and 1/8th of a teaspoon.

...as a in "a race", usually referred to as 100-meter dash.

...Mrs. Dash is a somewhat popular brand of cooking spice.

...as in a type of punctuation mark, it can connect two words together, or be used to indicate pause different than a hyphen.

I liked this one a lot. Thought provoking and educational at the same time. :)
