Question

My wife has a nice necklace made from 1 ounce of gold.

My Son has a dagger trinket made from 1 ounce of pewter.

Which weighs more?

My wife also has a total of one pound of Gold in her Jewelry box, and surprise, my son has a pount of pewter trinkets.

Which weighs more?

Finally, My daughter found out she had 16 ounces of gold in her jewelry box, Which weighs more, her gold or my son's Pewter?

To the first question....

The Gold.

Gold is measured in Troy weight, one Ounce of Gold is equal to 1.09714 oz of pewter

Question 2....

The Pewter.

there are only 12 troy ounces to a troy pound, therefore a troy pound equals 0.822857 lb of Pewter

So the last one?

the gold.....

simple enough that one....
