it wasn't me.

and I did find a much more practical interpretation of the solution

If you measure the time it takes to travel 1 mile [in Min], the second number will be your speed. [in mph]

so 1:60 means that you travelled a mile in 1 minute and your speed is 60 mph!

Is the the interpretation you were looking for??
