Operating on three people with two surgical gloves.

Question

Dr.Will wants to operate for three different persons who were wounded. But he had only two surgical gloves. There is no allowed blood contact between the three persons. How can Dr.Will operate for the three people with two pair of surgical gloves?

We also do not want the Dr to come into contact with the blood from any of the 3 patients

One approach

  • Use pair 1 on patient A [turn the gloves inside out as you remove them]
  • Use pair 2 on patient B
  • Place the "used side" or pair 1 over pair 2 [used side to used side] - and operate on patient C

true and there is a solution where the doctor doesn't come in contact with blood. I will wait and see if someone can find that answer

1. Put on both pairs of gloves and operate the first patient.

2. Remove outer pair of gloves and operate the second patient.
3. Turn removed pair of gloves inside out, put on and operate the third patient.
