Question

I am thinking of a word. You may ask any question, but I will only answer questions that do not require me to give any similar or related words unless they are already within this topic, this post not included.

Example:

If the word were “Mane”

Question: “Is it found on any animals? If so what animals?”

Answer:“Yes. I cannot say” or [lion has not been said, horse has] “Horses” [lion and horse have been said] “Lions and horses.”

Many parts of it are edible and considered as a vegetable. There is also an edible part considered as something else.

Amaranth!

After traversing Google for about twenty minutes, that was what I found. The search that did it was vegetables native to the Americas.

YAY!

My hint was a reference to the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, who has a song named Amaranth. It's actually the reason I chose "amaranth" as my word.

Incidentally, it was originally named "Reach" and was to be sung by Marco before they found a new female singer, Annete.

You want a go, KK?

Reset to here.

Is it a noun, verb, adjective, adverb, etc.?

Everyone with fully functioning vision should have seen them, though they probably don't know what they're called.

They're a sort of off-white, with a pinkish tinge.
