oh fun - not much time at the moment but am sure will not be able to resist. Shakee i think is more cryptic averse-more most excellent at metaphor/allusion with plenty of word play/double entendre and key word hints. check his out-my description doesn't do him justice

Impatient person reported in Asian capital (6)

Impatient person = type A with reported indicating a phonetic clue and the Asian capital = Taipei (coincidentally Shakee's hometown)

FWIW - these clues will go about showing the answer in two different ways - usually one more direct way and then a cryptic method.

EDIT: okay one more

Regressive indicates reversal;German capital = Berlin; ejecting heads of Italian and English = - I and - E and union group = NLRB

another FWIW note - the number in parenthesis indicates the number of letters in the answer

Awesome work!

I actually went ahead and solved the entire mega-puzzle without touching this specific puzzle. If anyone wants to tackle the other puzzles and want hints, I can offer them. (Except for this puzzle (which is the Optimus Prime puzzle) and Spock.)

Fair warning - I'm not really very good at these, so many are guesses that made sense (to me).

Fencers or Fencing

Nager -- French verb "to swim"

Kabbalah

Que -- French for "what"

Hoe -- remove S from shoe

Helix -- He + LIX = 59 in roman numerals, helix is a spiral shape

Nymph?

I said plainglazed got 'em. I.... not so much. In other words, "que?" ;)

Sorry, the "My country backs the parties for honour" was aimed at PG.

My country = UK. backs = KU. parties = dos. Honour is the non-cryptic clue.

The REVERSI, if you start at 6 ac, you can make the words NAVAL VESSEL ("fleet thinking") by moving one box at a time. But I'm not over-enamoured with that as it uses some letters twice. Still thinking

Ah! "Fleet thinking" = battleship. Another of the puzzles was battleship. The solution for THAT puzzle, laying the ships' placements over THIS puzzle, leaves us with another cryptic.

Uniform November Scar

Edit to add: Well, the letters UNIFORMNOVEMBERSCAR.

I suppose it could be Uniform Novembers Car or something else.

And THAT answer should be a board game.

when I was looking at the grid, I thought it reminded me of a game of Battleships, so I was looking for "frigate", "carrier" etc.... Now then, you have Uniform, November, Scar ? Not, by any chance, Uniform, November, Sierra?

Just that they are all words used in the phonetic alphabet.....
