Song Riddle

Question

Posted · Report post

Guess all the songs in this passage. The songs' first letters form the answer, but they're scrambled. Ignore "the" as a word. (t will not be the first letter if the song starts with "the") There are four songs to start. I also include hints for the artists.

Artists Hints:

Elvis Dwight

President Park

Vermin Corpse

Bug

I tried to show him in the end for the

Good of Mr. Kite.

I tried to show him ghosts and things

But Saturday night's alright.

This one's kinda easy.

Sorry, I can't seem hide my answer using my iPhone. Can't delete it, either, but was at least able to change what it says to question marks instead of my guess.

Elvis Dwight

President Park

Vermin Corpse - Deadmau5 (Dead Mouse) ?

Bug

I tried to show him in the end for the

Good of Mr. Kite.

I tried to show him ghosts and things

But Saturday night's alright. - Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting by Elton John.

So I'm guessing we're looking for a four-letter word that has an S.

EASY?

Heh, sorry. It's a little harder than I intended.

You have the old one check my second post but "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" by Elton John is right for one of them.

Yeah, I was guessing at 4-letter words with the letter S and saw that you said it was easy. =P

I most certainly wasn't calling it easy. I'm still trying to figure out the bands. =P

I seem to remember something about a group called Linkin Park. Doesn't really mean anything to me though.

Thanks. I think I got it now. =P

In the End.

Going to find the others.

Elvis has a song called For the Good Times... donno where times is, though.

And the song Ghosts 'n' Stuff by the earlier mentioned Deadmau5. =P

So...

GFIS

FIGS?

GIFS?

Omitting "For the" from For the Good Times could leave GIGS.

Yes, yes, very close.

So far:

Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite by the Beatles (Bug)

In the End by Linkin Park (President Park)

Saturday's Alright For Fighting by Elton John (Elvis James)

Again, Deadmau5 is NOT in this riddle. Look at my second post.
