What a riddle…

Question

there were a family that had 2 children, the parents and the house staff that lived in a round house (the hotel staff do not live in the round house and the round house has no corners). One night, the parents went out for dinner, but they couldn't leave the children, so they told the staff to take care of the children. But when they came back, the children were dead. They told the waitress if they saw the killer, but she said no. They told the Chef if they saw the killer, but he said that he arranged the forks and spoons. They told the butler, but he said no as well. Last but not least, the sweeper. He said that he was sweeping the corners. Who is the killer?

The most obvious answer would be the sweeper, since he lied about sweeping the corners. However being a liar does not equal being a killer. Also, although a round house has no corners on the outside, it is highly unlikely that the house does not have corners on the inside.
Since no-one saw the killer the most likely killer is either the chef or the waitress using poison in the food.

More semantics...A corner is defined as the joint of two or more edges so unless the "round house" is a sphere, the entire perimeter around the floor is technically a corner, implying the sweeper is not lying.

nice one

THE SWEEPER WHO LIED ABOUT CORNERS IN ROUND HOUSE

can't it be like though the house was round but can have wall dividing house in rooms and thus have corners

LOL

but this would make the puzzle impossible
