Question

Alright this is not a really hard one but.....

you want to mail ur friend a fishing rod that is exactly 6.1cm you can only send it to him in a parcel but he lives in a city where nothing more that 6cm can be mailed its the rules

so.... how do you mail it to him

Take a square box which has all sides equal to 6cm

Ignoring the fact that it is an extremely small fishing rod... :P

You could disassemble it into two pieces. I don't think that your solution is valid, because the question doesn't say no packages longer than 6 cm can be mailed. It says nothing more than 6cm can be mailed. In which case you would be breaking the rules of the puzzle.

I don't know fishing rod long only 6.1cm,but anyway no one fishing rod is made from one piece.I'll disassemble it and mail it.

I have two rods (5ft and 8ft) that are single piece rods, though I cannot imagine a 6.1cm rod being multiple pieces. You cannot even send a regular card to that guy, I would move if I were him.
