What are the next three numbers in the given series, and why?

1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 1, --, --, --

5-6-7-2-1 appears to be regular sequence three times followed by 2-1 but I'm doubting it can really be that easy

5-6-7-2-1 appears to be regular sequence three times followed by 2-1 but I'm doubting it can really be that easy

oh, I see now. It looks somehow similar to EventHorizon ... I am looking for another one

"= W = " has got it ... number of letters in Roman numerals.

the sequence goes ... 2, 3, 4, ... for XI, XII and XIII

it's 2, 3, 4

it goes up one more than before, and then goes 2, 1. so expanded it would be 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 2, 1,...

So the next three would be 2, 3, 4

it's 2, 3, 4

So the next three would be 2, 3, 4

that is also interesting sequence ... as to me,

I was thinking about the letters in Roman Numerals ...

So, it goes 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4, 5, 3, 2, 3, 4,...
