umm this is kinda out there but i kinda feel

that it's abstract... and i got the feeling that it was like evil or misfortune or life.... life especially i think... those three are what i mostly thought:)

A black hole, maybe? I feel like the whole "lots of matter but still none" thing kinda describes a black hole...

ha at the vending machine, some answers are closer than others. I'll give it one more day then give a hint.

for now:

what stretches to infinity, contains all matter, is essentially empty, and our concept of it doesn't change?

Not sure as to what the answer is but the riddle follows pretty similar lines as the Buddhist Heart Sutra, so perhaps enlightenment or wisdom or something similar?

i really like this answer, but its the other side of the coin! :-)

My earlier answer was pretty darn close (the Universe)...because space certainly seems to fit the bill :c)
