Question

What can change shape, size, and color.

It can be as big as a planet, or small enough to fit on my desk.

It can travel from planet to planet or from city to city by itself.

If you look at it, you won't see it.

What is it?

It could not be light, air or an atom.

Though light may have the intrinsic property of self-propagation, neither air nor the atom do [one would have to go the elementary building blocks of these to find that property]. As color is by definition a frequency of light, one can say it does have color, but you can also see light.

If one can argue that light has size and shape, then gravity may fit the answer. The graviton's forces, as the electromagnetic forces of the photon, can "fill" an area (volume). As it can bend light and matter, it can change the shape, size and, effectively, the color seen. It itself can not be seen.

I wonder, maybe it's not something physical??Like imagination or something??

It is possible it is something abstract like imagination, but it couldn't be imagination unless the last clue was reversed. Imagination is something than can be seen, but not looked at.

good try, i can see the logic behind it but water can't travel from planet to planet. if that clue wasnt part of the question, it could be quite possibly right. but sadly its not even close.

it can change shape and size by its own will.

good luck.

By "by its own will" do you mean it is able to make decisions?
