A friend was getting a sick friend's things out of his locker since he didn't have time to get them on the way out of school.

He didn't want to give the code to the locker directly. So, he wrote this on a piece of paper.

24, 24, 22, 9, 9, 9, 9, 22, 24, 22, 9, 9

The friend was perplex, so he put each number in the lock, but it didn't work. He looked at the paper, and after five minutes, he opened the locker and got his sick friend's books, papers, etc.

What was the combination to the lock?

XXVIIIIVXVII Well, you get 29 with those. Then, 5-10 doesn't work so just 5. Last, 10+5+2 works.

Whoops, 29=28.
