Question

What you do is you try to figure out the language that I am using and its meaning in English.

You may NOT use Google Translate. Try to use your knowledge.

To start you off:

Üdvözöljük a fordítás játék

Don't wanna insult you, TC, but what Spanish word has ü <with dots?

Use google, but not translator. If you can give me the language, then you can use translator to solve it.

Use Google! Use Yahoo! Search it up!

I did. All I found was stuff about marine biology and I thought I remembered jatek from a FB chat it was spanish. Btw you didn't offend me.

German, Manatee Eats a Human!(I have no clue. That's why I hate technology mostly. They give us overloads. Even Bing does that!)

No ö in Spanish, but ü... There are a few of them. Vergüenza comes to mind right away and a Google search will give you a number more.

The language does appear to be East European. Czech or something like that.

Sorry, TC, and thanks, JDave, didn't know about that (my brother was the Spanish-speaking one. I couldn't concentrate long enough to learn it)

Getting warmer, JDave...

I am not quite sure what you are looking for. Unless someone actually knows the language, what knowledge would they draw on to figure out the language and the meaning of what you wrote?

After doing a google search, google said that it wanted to translate from

hungarian

to english. There is also a page that says "Üdvözöljük a Budapesti Műszaki. . ." In Spanish "a" means "to." I see a lot of pages that say "Üdvözöljük a *insert name*"

Welcome to *something*

Googling "fordítás" gives the first result as

"Google Fordító" (google translate)

Given the name of this thread, "Welcome to the Translate Game?"

Romanian?

nope.. sounds/looks more like Hungarian .. :D

Romanian it's a Latin language... an island in a sea of slav languages like Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Bulgarian.. etc...

Hungarian is different , it's a language that comes from old Kazakhs .. a cousin language to Finnish.

Edit: Sry.. I replied to Shadow's post before reading page 2 .. WD Thalia :)

Now that looks a lot like Spanish, and since it pertains to the Iberian peninsula that strengthens the connection. At least I am inferring that "Ibero" refers to the Iberian Peninsula.

Going off of my Spanish, it says:

This is Galician, a language from the West Iberian-Romance branch.
