BOTTLE - 2 Consider 4 cases: From B and O, 1)Both B and O are correct. 2)Only B is correct. 3)Only O is correct. 4)Both B and O are incorrect. If case 1 was true then METTLE would have earned 0. Assume case 2 is true. Then M as first letter is incorrect. One from the letters ??TTLE is correct. So even if ?E???? was correct, METTLE would have earned 2. So case 2 is wrong. Similarly if case 3 is true, then even if M????? was correct, METTLE would have earned 2. So case 3 is wrong. Case 4 is correct. So 2 letters from ??TTLE are right.
