Question

A king who had three sons, left 17 horses and died with the condition that none of my horse should die or must be shared. :excl:

His last statement was that all of his children must divide the horse such that 1 has 1/2 of the horses,2 have 1/3 and third can have 1/9 of the remaining

they were confused soon a man came riding on horse and they spoke to him soon that man divided the horses and went away on his horse. :D

Man who came added his horse so there was 18 horses in total. Heirs divided horses 9 (1/2), 6(1/3) and 2(1/9) amongst themselves, and misterious man got his horse back and ride to the sunset. :-)

The visitor added his horse also to the 17 of the demised King, making it totally 18. Then he gave 1/2 - Nine horses to the first son, 1/3 - six horses to second son and 1/9 - 2 horses to third son. The remaining one was his own horse, on which he rode away.
