Question

What do I mean by ''In the end?''

Come on,think about it,what happens to snowmen when you leave them?

Clear your mind and focus! Get ready and read carefully!

Seven friends go outside and play in a field with lots and lots of snow. All the friends decide to make a snowman each. They all admire their creations and are all very proud, until a very strong gust of wind comes along and destroys two snowmen. How many snowmen are left are in the end?

This is a very imaginative puzzle.Becouse as you say in your hint, you don't define what in the end means.

Normally it would mean, 5 snowmen standing. But as you don't define in the end, it could mean many more answers

You probably think the answer is Zero snowmen. But what if "In the end" means in the end of the day?Or in the end

of their playing, or in the end of the hour?Funny puzzle but it should be re-made

none, as all snowmen melt, in the end.

one, as the concept of a snowman is enduring.

five, as that is how many are left standing, in the end, after the wind storm has passed.

seven, as the physical content of all seven continues even if scattered.

seven, as they continue in the collective memories of the seven friends.

forty nine, as each friend has a unique memory of each of the seven snowmen which they will retain long after the snowmen forms have gone.

fifty, or fifty four or fifty six as a result of combining some of the earlier results.

In the end, it is not just the meaning of "in the end" that matters, but also the meaning of "snowman", "creations" and "destroys" that can vary the answer.

Logic one: if "in the end" is not defined there would be no snowmen left as they would all melt eventually...

Logic two: perhaps they are playing on an ice field located in the north or south pole - (a) all snowmen would be accounted for as they would never melt (understanding that even knocked over snowmen are still snowmen) (b) no snowmen would be left as throughout time the moisture would evaporate from the show and they would all crumble to snow dust

Logic three: perhaps we are dealing with "Christmas" snow as seen in Frosty; this would mean again, all snowmen would be accounted for as they would keep coming back time and again
