Why do I always get "#name# has started a personal conversation with you" each time that someone posts me a profile comment or adds to their friend's list, I get a notification thinking it's a PM or something but all it does is redirect me to either the friend's list or profile message, can't we have it just say "... has added you to their friends list" or "... has commented on your profile"?

I just figured it was for the sake of email notifications. I never was emailed about a comment before these PM notifications were setup...though I was emailed about an added friend.

It would be better if it came in the form of a notification popup message....like when it used to come in PM....not a PM.......

We have the option to cancel email notifications, I believe. My gmail alerts me to what is happening here, in order for me to decide whether I should log in or not. I like that it shows who added me as a friend before I get here as well. Maybe, it can be tweaked a little to not have more than one notice on this site. Either way it won't bother me.

I don't like it either. Though truthfully I wouldn't check my page if it wouldn't pop up...

I haven't checked my Gmail in forever... must be 1,000 notifications from BD on there...
