Question

This one came to my attention about 30 years ago. If my memory hasn't faltered (possible ;) ), it was in a Mensa test, possibly in some (maybe disreputable?) magazine.

On a sheet of paper, draw 9 dots in a 3x3 grid. Using a pencil connect (by crossing) all 9 dots with 4 straight lines, without lifting your pencil from the paper.

Think "Outside the Box"

Most folks build in the rule that's not in the puzzle... They stay within the confines of the matrix.
