Question

In both quickies, A, B and C are individually either Knights [truth tellers] or Knaves [liars].

  1. A says: "B and C are of the same type."
    You ask C: "Are A and B the same type?"

    What does C answer? .
    .
  2. C says: "B is a Knave."
    B says: "A and C are of the same type."

    Of what type is A?

question 1 - Answer to is yes. With the first sentence of A there is no other possibility. Either C is a liar and A and B are different or C tells true.

question 2 - Due to previous sentences - A is a knave.

1. C answers yes -- they could all be knights or B and C are knaves with A as a knight

2. A is a knave -- if C is telling the truth he has to be a knight and making B a knave so in order for B's statement to be a lie A has to not be the same as C so A is a knave.
