0 Guest
The letter C. In vocal music, High C, sometimes known by the term Soprano C or C6 is the C two octaves above Middle C. In many fonts the letter has rotational symmetry along the horizontal axis, thus even when the character is written upside down it can be read the same. 0 Guest
The majascule (uppercase; capital) letter I also has rotational symmetry about the horizontal axis (and vertical axis), so location -- high, low, or wherever -- it is read the same. 0 Guest
NOON if not it, is the word from the English language or another language?
0 Guest
Solved by kac_cotu NOON upside down is NOON and we can have high NOON upside down it's still NOON if you write them(SWIMS,MOW,NOON) on a piece of paper and turn it upside down it should still read the same nice job.! 0 Guest
The symmetry sought was 180 degree rotational symmetry and not reflective symmetry. NOON indeed may be considered upside down. The majuscule of English alphabetic letters that can have reflective symmetry are: B,C,D,E,H,I,K,O and (M <-> W). The majuscule of English alphabetic letters that can have 180 degree rotational symmetry are: H,I,O,N,S,Z and (M <-> W).
