Is there any particular reason for the different colors in the clues? I'd try it out, but my English is not that good, so I might not be familiar with some of the answers. I'll leave it to the fluent people.

No, the colors are an artifact of the "code" directive which I used

to keep all the columns aligned. If there is another way to do this

without the color artifacts, I would like to know.

Yes indeed superprismatic, most enjoyable. My kind of puzzle. Just wanted to respond in the form of promoting this one for others rather than press for a solution. As for the colors, think they always come with the code tags. Some fixed width fonts like verdana may work but putting in more than single spaces or multiple skipped lines are still problematic due to the compression when the post is compiled. Cheers.
