One morning Jooha (a famous comic character in Arab tales) came home to his wife and brought with him about 7 pounds of fresh meat from the market, he told his wife to only cook part of it each day when he comes home, but on the first day he left Jooha's wife's friends came over, 4 other housewives, and Jooha's wife didn't know what to host them with so she cooked all the meat for them, when Jooha came home and asked where was the meat his wife said "the cat ate it", but when Jooha looked at his cat he immediately got an idea and did something and proved without a doubt that his wife was lying, what did he do?

Weighing the cat is the correct answer, a normal cat usually weighs about 7 pounds itself, this is another one from the old children's tales where Jooha takes the cat and weighs it and sees it's 7 pounds so he says "If this is the cat then where is the meat and if this is the meat then where is the cat?"

...yeah, I miss first grade freelance reading hours...:P

he weighed the cat and found out its weight to be exactly seven pounds...wherein the meat also weighed exactly seven pounds..so he directly understood that his wife was lieing...

why not just try to feed it something else and see if it would eat it. if it is hungry, it means that it didn't eat the meat, seven pounds of fresh meat is a lot of food.
