Guest Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 Well mine is an accumulation from different sources that I've found over the years. There are a lot of junk words in my list. A LOT!!!!!! I've used the list mostly for GAMES Magazine contests over the years where they challenge you to find words that score high according to their contest rules and also fit into whatever criteria they have set up for the contest. All of their contests have the caveat (sp?) that the words submitted most be in Webster's 3rd. I started by trying to find a list of words that were only in Webster's 3rd but learned early on that it doesn't matter. I'm sure about a third to half of my list is invalid but unless a word makes the final round in the contest, I don't care.
