TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same, 10

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back. 15

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference. 20

I took out the skiing & filled in the blanks this way:

A roller coaster? In particular, the Cyclone?

(two sets of "trains") usually divided into 2 seats across (2 rows to each car) 4 cars per "train"), cars are almost square in shape & usually a bright color (yellow or golden) " Diving Pines" could be the slats on the track, at least in the case of a wooden roller coaster.

Can't quite work 100 days to live into the equation, though

Baby birds in a nest? (golden shapes)

Lots of nests are made with pine branches or needles - parent bird(s) might deposit pine needles in nest to keep it cushioned or to replace soiled material (diving pines)

two divided by two (a clutch of 4 chicks)

4 divided by 4 (mama bird divides food into 4 portions for each of her 4 babies).

Baby birds can take up to 100 days to fledge - 100 days to live (in the nest?)

Baby birds in a nest

golden shapes

(a clutch of chicks)

twice divided by 2

4 divided by 4

(these 2 lines describe the branches of the tree the nest is nestled in)

with diving pines

(the pinion feathers on babies or the pine needles parent birds often drop into the nest to replace soiled material or keep it fresh)

100 days to live

(# of days it takes for some baby birds to fledge)

checks in a checkbook

golden shapes: the majority of checks are a goldenrod color.

4/4 could mean four lines (date, payee line, dollar amount line, signature line)

twice divided by 2: the date & amount lines are split

diving pines: cd refer to the security markings on the backs of the check.

In many cases, you only have 90-100 days to cash a check

.

A $100 bill.

Since the new ones are minted in color, it could be predominantly golden(rod) in color.

And have evergreens(diving pines) pictured somewhere on it.

4/4 could refer to the denominations printed on the front & back.

2/2 maybe to some other symbol

(I don't have a $100 to look at right now, so I,m guessing)

A multiplex theatre?

golden shapes (Lighting makes the complex look "golden")

twice divided by 2 (There could be two wings on each side of the main building)

4 divided by 4 (Each wing could contain 4 theatres)

with diving pines (I think Loews or some other co. has a logo that looks like diving pines)

100 days to live? Most movies run for about 100 days
