Thanks for the clarification. I don't think anyone could tell that "from the living" meant from two living things. This riddle seems pretty complicated to me. :unsure: I will only ask for one hint. How are you using the word "muse"?

to clarify...

1) there are 2 answers that go together

2) one of them is a KIND of tree

yes to both, and only those two can fit the puzzle together (can't think of anything else that can right now...)

haha, well, i looked up the answer again and it looks like it's not a very well known tree apparently, only a couple species are common...

yes(at least where i come from), it's not as commonly known. in fact, i didn't know it was a wood until i was looking how to make a riddle for it
