Guest
Three men had lunch in a restaurant. When they finished and paid the bill, each of them put in $10. So altogether the waiter had $30. But the waiter realised that the bill was only $25. There was $5 change, so he gave $1 back to each man and put the remaining $2 in his pocket. Now it appears that each man paid $9 for their meal, and the waiter had $2; a total of $29. Where is the missing dollar??
0 Guest
I've seen this question on this board many times. Here is the correct chain of thought at the point where there is a mess up in the logic of the person who wrote the puzzle. Now it appears that each man paid $9 for their meal, and all together were given back $3, a total of $30.
