Here is a challenge for everyone:

What compound words (compound words are words that are made of smaller words, e.g. peanut (pea+nut) and daylight (day+light)) are made of two smaller words of opposite definitions?

I don't think night and light qualify. We don't say "It's night in here" when we can't see nor do we ask what time of light it is.

Though I guess foot and ball aren't opposites, so nvm.

Moot point and pet hate!

Does anyone use WHICH anymore. So often I see what used at the begining of a question when choice is involved - thus dictating the use of which not what.

I blame Trivial Pursuit, I think the makers have used it (and abused it) far to frequently.

What word? or...

Which words?... mmmmm!

Some of my favorites:

Monopoly (mono = one, poly = more than one)

Everyone

Pianoforte (musical term literally meaning soft-loud)

Sophomore (sopho = wise, more = foolish)

Mythological

Seashore

Nevermore

Butthead :c)
