Question

I'm not sure if you have read of this one before, but lemme share it with you. This is pretty easy..

- You have 5 fishes for frying. Each side of a fish takes 5 minutes to be fried. You can only put 2 fishes on your pan at the same time. You only have 25 minutes to have all 5 fishes fried completely. How would you do the frying?

Very similar to the toast problem.

The key is simply to make sure that you always have two fish in the pan at one time. To do this, at some point you need to pull one out after frying one side, set it aside, and put it back in later at the same time as the one which took its place (and therefore also only had one side cooked). Doesn't really matter at which point you do this, but it will ensure that you finish with two pieces frying at the same time.

Let A, B, C, D and E be the fishes

5 min ------------------- A B
10 min ------------------- A C
15 min ------------------- B C
25 min ------------------- D E
